Looking for a weekend away in nature but on a budget? Don’t mind helping out and swapping some of your time? We have a couple of volunteer opportunities available that include free accommodation!
Volunteering at Eastwoodhill’s Visitor Centre is rewarding and easy. Come by yourself, or bring a friend and split the day between two so you have more time to wander the arboretum trails!
There’s also free coffee, scones and soup for our volunteers.
An overnight stay at your National Arboretum is a unique experience.
Enjoy the grounds after hours, light the fire, watch the bird life and take in the clear night stars!
Simplicity is key at the Arboretum.
Helping at the visitor centre will involve greeting visitors on arrival, giving them a map and then they’re on their way.
We’ve a straightforward point of sale system a great wee gift shop and it’s all pretty chill. So bring a book, play some tunes, click into the wifi and get your life admin or studies done before clocking off to grab a coffee and a walk.
Too easy!
You’ll be shown the ropes by our volunteer coordinator Bobbi.
