    Memorial Ball to Bill & Elizabeth Williams and surrounding park area. Seems amazing now that when we were teenagers, we would go to Eastwoodhill for working bees slashing thorny acacia that grew all through that area

I grew up on a farm by the sea north of Gisborne.

I did my nursing training in Christchurch, travelled, and worked overseas for a couple of years then returned to Gisborne, married, and spent the next 36 years living on a farm near Eastwoodhill.

My husband and I have since moved to a horticulture block on the Poverty Bay flats and established an apple orchard.
