Mundi Trio are bringing their high-energy, globe-trotting sound to Eastwoodhill arboretum on the 6th February, Waitangi Day at 7pm.
We’d love to see you here! Your support for these events means a lot to us as we hope to be able to bring more events like this to Tairāwhiti. The arboretum is a unique venue and a gem for the region, we would love to host more so the Gisborne community can enjoy this asset that’s right on their doorstep. As always, these things rely on ticket sales! So the best way to support is to buy your ticket now and encourage your friends to buy one too!
The weather forecast is looking promising so we look forward to enjoying the upcoming evening in the arboretums Cafe area with fairy lights and seating. If the weather turns we will be dancing, or tapping our toes in our cosy visitor centre, seating will be provided.
Your ticket will also count as an entry into the arboretum, so you can make an afternoon of it and arrive early to explore the grounds or bring a picnic for your own pre-event dinner.
Mundi Trio will be mixing up Brazilian, African, and hypnotic melodies that’ll take you on a musical journey. You’ll hear everything from vibrant percussion to dreamy flutes, with the trio’s infectious joy shining through every note.
The group—featuring Brazilian percussionist Ricardo Stuani, guitarist Chris Dabinett, and the multi-talented Tamara Smith—will be performing fresh new tunes that blend dueling drums, hypnotic guitar, and beautiful vocals.
Arrive at 6:30 and enjoy a drink on arrival.
The Music will start at 7pm and there will be two 45min sets with nibbles provided at interval to keep your energy up!
Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for kids (5-14), and the show starts at 7pm.
