Education at the arboretum

This is a significant improvement and is the result of more focus, better educational offerings and opportunities, and getting to schools at the right time.

We have a great relationship with Tairawhiti Museum who assist us in working with schools and continue to develop new programmes for delivery at Eastwoodhill. The arboretum is a great location for their Learning Experiences Outside the Classroom (LEOTC) work.

We have recently added a new rogaine course to the various orienteering and discovery courses. This ensures those children who have already done the course will enjoy further challenges
