Immerse yourself in the beauty of our very own national arboretum when you enjoy a stay at Eastwoodhill's Douglas Cook Centre.

Eastwoodhill provides an inspirational environment for art and craft groups, study groups, walking groups, or groups of friends after some quality time together.


Studio Unit x1

Studio unit with ensuite (king size bed that converts to two singles as requested). The studio has a closed-in porch that opens to a large courtyard. Linen is provided, but you need to provide your own food/drink. Advance bookings are essential.
$110 per night ($10 entry fee per person. Please pay on arrival).

Twin Room's X1

The twin room currently sleeps two in twin bed arrangement, and bed linen is provided. Please bring your own towels and food/drink. Advance bookings are essential.
$60 per night per night (a $10 entry fee per person is also payable on arrival).

Bunkrooms x2

The bunk rooms include two rooms with eight beds in each. A fully-equipped shared kitchen and common room facilities are also available to accommodation users. Bed linen is provided, but you need to provide your own towels and food/drink. Advance bookings are essential.
$25 per person ($10 entry fee per person. Please pay on arrival). $25 for subsequent nights.

Please note: Entry fees are a one-off payment on arrival for entire stay. The entry fee for children is $2 and is also a one-off payment made on arrival for entire stay.

Tasty Leaf Catering can prepare delicious snacks, lunches and evening meals by prior arrangement. Please remember to pick up your supplies on the way - the closest shops are in Gisborne, 35km from the arboretum.
