The Tree Cathedral over the past 12 months has continued to thrive.
The Redwoods are all establishing very well and range between 2.5 and 3m in height. The other species around the outside are also doing fine. The trees to the Southwest of the site continue to grow slower, although we will be monitoring their growth after the soil amelioration we undertook last year to try and de-compact the soil. If they continue to show signs of poor growth we will look to replace them next winter.
The trees planted as back-ups all appear to be in good condition also so we will look to replace with these should we need too. The finest team of our four-legged friends from Wickham Hill, along with Gauky our groundsman and the tractor and mower keep the grass down all year round that really makes a trip out to the cathedral at any time of the year worth it!
